DROP’s Pure Inspiration Series Featureing New Artists Annually
BIGFOOT SERIES
The second iteration of our tribute to creative individuals who inspire Drop and our lifestyle, this year’s DPI SERIES features artwork by the legendary ( and mysterious ) BIGFOOT.
Inspired by nature, 1970’s comics, graffiti and rock n’ roll, Bigfoot lives in San Francisco, California. A New Jersey native, he was born in 1974 and grew up heavily influenced by the band Kiss, once attending a record twelve concerts in just one year. After briefly studying at the San Francisco Art Institute, Bigfoot co-founded the footwear company Ipath in 1998 with pro skater Matt Field. Bigfoot’s art has been featured in the San Francisco Bay Guardian, Juxtpoz, Tokion, Mass Appeal, and Vapors and his work has been exhibited in numerous galleries including GR2, White Walls, and BLK/MRKT Gallery.
Drop is proud to have teamed up with the nature-loving artist to put together this year’s DPI SERIES glove, an eco-friendly take on our all new VAC II design, and one third of our new VERDÉ SERIES.
